Passover Meal Heating Instructions

 

 

 Potato Latkes

  • Remove outer plastic wrap. Warm potato cakes in oven for 15-20 mins, then 10 mins uncovered

  • Temperature:   300-325ºF, Time: 20-30 minutes - Serve when crisp

Chicken and Vegetable Soup

  • Pour Chicken Soup in to a large enough pot

  • Bring the Soup to a Simmer

  • Time: 15-20 minutes, Temperature should register 165ºF or higher

  • For Matzo Balls, simmer in the soup for 7-10 minutes until heated through

Roasted Carrots and Green Beans

  • Remove outer plastic wrap. Leave aluminum foil on to promote even heating, and to prevent vegetables from drying out

  • Place pan in the center of the oven.  Rotate halfway through heating time to insure even heating

  • Temperature:   300-325ºF, Time: 20-25 minutes

Roasted Potatoes

  • Remove outer plastic wrap. Leave aluminum foil on to promote even heating, and keep dish from drying out

  • Place Pans in the center of the oven. Rotate half way through heating time to insure even heating

  • Remove cover for last 15-20 minutes and brown/crisp, as desired

  • Temperature:   300-325ºF, Time:  50-60 minutes

Roasted Chicken 

  • Remove outer plastic wrap.  Leave aluminum foil on to promote even heating, and to prevent dish from drying out

  • Place pan in the center of the oven.  Rotate halfway through heating time to insure even heating.  Bake for 30-45 minutes, until warmed through. Check Temperature for 165 degrees minimum

  • Uncover for last 5-10 minutes

  • Temperature:   300-325ºF, Time: 30-45 minutes

Braised Short Ribs 

  • Remove outer plastic wrap.  Leave aluminum foil on to promote even heating, and to prevent dish from drying out

  • Place pan in the center of the oven.  Rotate halfway through heating time to insure even heating.  Bake for 40-60 minutes, until warmed through

  • Uncover for last 5-10 minutes

  • Temperature:   300-325ºF, Time: 40-60 minutes

Grilled Salmon

  • Remove outer plastic wrap.  Leave aluminum foil on to promote even heating, and to prevent dish from drying out

  • Place pan in the center of the oven.  Rotate halfway through heating time to insure even heating

  • Remove foil after 15 minutes.  Heat until 140 degrees internally or done as desired

  • Temperature: 300-325ºF, Time: 20-30 minutes

Whole Poached Salmon

  • Remove outer plastic wrap.  Leave aluminum foil on to promote even heating, and to prevent dish from drying out

  • Place pan in the center of the oven.  Rotate halfway through heating time to insure even heating

  • Heat until desired temperature

  • Temperature: 250-300ºF, Time: 10-20 minutes
