A Thank You from our President
Today is May 17, 2020. I am sitting here in the garden of the Rincon Beach Club reflecting on the last 36 years. You see exactly 36 years ago is the day that Judy Johnson became my very first client at Brandon’s Restaurant. Reflecting on the nearly four decades since I made that fateful decision to sell all my worldly possessions and take a long leap down the rabbit hole of owning a small business, I always wind up mindful of all the blessings that have marked the life Carol and I have chosen.
Today we have four wonderful adult children, one two-year-old red-headed granddaughter, two crazy dogs, and 40 hard-working co-workers. We have always gotten by during the hard years of stock market crashes, wars, earthquakes, fire, flood, economic disasters, and now a pandemic and in the end, we always prospered. But the theme that returns time and again is the friendships and enduring relationships of both the staff and clients that have grown and survived over the years.Thank you for sticking by us and supporting Rincon no matter what. Thank you for your hard work, your help and guidance, your patronage, and your kind comments at just the right moment. I will always be grateful for all of you, my family, the Rincon TEAM, our clients, and our life long friends.
Since we can’t party together, I will be out on Santa Claus Lane for Rincon Invisible Chef & Wine order pick-up to say hi and thank you personally on Saturday, May 23rd from 2pm-4pm. See you then!
