Safety Protocol + Rincon's Response to CODIV-19
Our community & neighbors are feeling the increased impact of coronavirus as we all continue to take necessary actions to keep each other healthy.
As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic continues to evolve, we are taking extra precautions to care for our Rincon Team & our clients.
Employees will be screened for general contact to the public.
Staff will be limited to immediate family contact only
Delivery boxes that are not discarded upon delivery will not be allowed in the kitchen unless they are sanitized
Wash hands thoroughly after receiving deliveries.
While currently there is no evidence to support the transmission of COVID-19 associated with food (https://www.cdc.gov/foodsafety/newsletter/food-safety-and-Coronavirus.html), we will continue our additional precautions and as new information becomes available, make any necessary changes.
All delivery and kitchen employees will wash hand before entering the building will wear a clean uniform before entering the kitchenIf employees are feeling sick or they have a sick family member in their home, stay home from work.
Gloves and masks will be worn at all times.
Gloves will be changed between prep assignments
Hand washing will take place before using new gloves
Social distancing (6 feet)
No more than 10 employees in the building at all times. No more than 4 people in the kitchen proper, I person in the dish room, I person in the Bakery
No cell phone use in the kitchen
Sanitize workstations before, during and after shifts
Sanitize touchable surfaces before and after use (counters, door handles, freezer door handle, etc).
No sharing of equipment or work tools (computers, mousepads, pens, knives, etc.)
At all times Only new food packing material with be used. No shipping or produce boxes will be used for Invisible chef orders
The office will be off-limits to the kitchen crew
