Safety Protocol + Rincon's Response to CODIV-19

Our community & neighbors are feeling the increased impact of coronavirus as we all continue to take necessary actions to keep each other healthy.

As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic continues to evolve, we are taking extra precautions to care for our Rincon Team & our clients.

  • Employees will be screened for general contact to the public. 

  • Staff will be limited to immediate family contact only 

  •  Delivery boxes that are not discarded upon delivery will not be allowed in the kitchen unless they are sanitized 

  • Wash hands thoroughly after receiving deliveries.

    While currently there is no evidence to support the transmission of COVID-19 associated with food (https://www.cdc.gov/foodsafety/newsletter/food-safety-and-Coronavirus.html), we will continue our additional precautions and as new information becomes available, make any necessary changes.
    All delivery and kitchen employees will wash hand before entering the building will wear a clean uniform before entering the kitchen 

  • If employees are feeling sick or they have a sick family member in their home, stay home from work.

  • Gloves and masks will be worn at all times.  

  • Gloves will be changed between prep assignments

  • Hand washing will take place before using new gloves

  • Social distancing (6 feet)

  • No more than 10 employees in the building at all times. No more than 4 people in the kitchen proper, I person in the dish room, I person in the Bakery

  • No cell phone use in the kitchen

  • Sanitize workstations before, during and after shifts

  • Sanitize touchable surfaces before and after use (counters, door handles, freezer door handle, etc).

  • No sharing of equipment or work tools (computers, mousepads, pens, knives, etc.)

  • At all times Only new food packing material with be used. No shipping or produce boxes will be used for Invisible chef orders 

  • The office will be off-limits to the kitchen crew
